This is the fourth in the taegeuk forms. The word Sa is the number 4. Jang translates as chapter. "Chapter 1 of taegeuk. Each taegeuk is represented by a trigram. Trigrams are divination symbols. Symbols respresenting the concept of Keon (beginning of the creation of all things). This poomsae is the first intermediate level form. It is more complex than previous forms. Entire body movements (upper and lower body) are more complex - right side kick and double knifehand block including chambering.
